Randy DuBurke is known for his fine art gallery exhibition work, commercial illustration and comics illustration, most notably his work on 'Black Canary' in Action Comics Weekly. A self-taught artist, DuBurke has worked extensively as a cover artist for 'Animal Man', 'The Darkstars', 'Mrs. Tree' and 'The Shadow'. For the Paradox Mystery collection, he made the graphic novel 'Hunter's Heart'. He also contributed to many of Paradox Press' Big Books.

hi, will! i have been a fan of randy's since i first saw his work on hunter's heart...his level of detail is amazing. i count myself fortunate to be the custodian of this & the color piece. i am grateful that randy was willing to part with them both. i have yet to scan & post the color piece, though...the effect on it is amazing-he used acrylic, collage, & photo-collage. i love the way the buildings shimmer gold against his masterful use of color on the piece. i consider hunter's heart his magnum opus---his passion for it shows! (now if somebody could see their way to re-issue it, i'm certain it would find a wider audience!)
