Description

I've loved Marvel and DC's team-up titles since I first discovered them as a kid in the late 1970s, and this one is from the second of the three series titled Marvel Team-Up over the years -- the short-lived one from the late 1990s. This issue spotlighted Spider-Man and Hercules in action together, and this page features the latter in a Dionysian party. I acquired this page with another from the same issue, and it featured both heroes. But I quickly flipped it at a comic expo shortly after it arrived in the mail.

Online credits indicate Pat Olliffe did the "breakdowns" for this issue, which usually means loose pencils. I find that easy to accept, as Olliffe's style is overwhelmed here by Al Milgrom's inks. Still, the finished product boasts a fun tone that I've always loved about these team-up titles.

A note in the margin to the right of the second panel instructs the colorist that the TV screen features Xena in action.
