I feel so honored to own one of David Petersen's covers for TMNT. His illustration work on Mouse Guard is excellent and when it comes to drawing animals there are few artists who can do what he does. IDW asked him back for more cover work on the TMNT series. This is the regular cover for issue #1 of TMNT mini-series Turtles in Time. Petersen will be doing all four covers for the series. From what I've read he loves and respects the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and hopefully, in the future, will be able to do a full story.

Beautiful cover, definitely the best one Peterson did. I read the blog and actually preferred the coloring work he did before the final rendered page. Of course, I'm always a sucker for old-school flat coloring...
