Description

Nick drew the covers to all 6 issues of Strange Sports Stories. This is not the most interesting cover by Nick and not even my favorite of the series.

In the 2 panels, the perspective and directions of the balls seems to dictate some kind of circular or cyclic design, which was a favorite of Nick.

Unfortunately, this cover had way too much whitespace for text.

But hey... I liked the Strange Sports series. A lot of great artists worked on those non-hero stories.

oh man, grail envy!!!! loved that book as a kid - i have the splash and a few other pages from the devil baseball story... and was wondering if this cover would ever show up... congrats !!!!

I have never picked up those books, but still great to see the range Cardy had to do this type of cover theme as well.
