Description

Although not original art this is much more highly developed than most colorist pages than is the typical norm. Colors have been airbrushed on and also applied with brush. It is almost at the detail to be considered a painting. The process was extremely time consuming and not something that is often done even before the days of computer coloring. The black line work was reproduced very lightly in blue as a guide to the colorist page which is printed on thick matting board which in itself is unusual. The board measures 11 X 14.5 inches with the art measuring 9 X 13.5 inches. The black ink is on a separate piece of clear overlay.

There is slight warping on the matting board and despite being able to line up the line work with the painted page once it flattens out for scanning everything becomes unaligned again.

The page is autographed by Bernie Wrighston.
