This page is a prime period example from one of the most popular runs in the history of comics -- John Byrne's iconic stint on X-Men. This page has an ideal amount of character inclusion, with Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Banshee all featured. If that were not enough, and in most cases it would be, this page also features Kazar and Zabu! Following on the heels of Dave Cockrum's beloved run on the X-Men, John Byrne took over the wildly popular title with issue #108. He quickly established his own style and feel for the characters and captained them through some of the most popular and memorable storylines in Marvel history. John Byrne X-Men originals have long been extremely sought after, but their availability is very limited on the open market. When pages do appear, especially ones with high quality content like the offered page, they typically get scooped up into private collections immediately, which makes public offerings quite rare.
