Description

Only a couple of the Matt Marriott stories feature historical figures. The story 'Ambush' has some dailies with George Armstrong Custer and Sitting Bull.

This two-panel piece introduces Wild Bill Hickok as a character in 'Last of the Cattle Barons'. He appears in about a dozen dailies.

Love the pin-stripe trousers in the first panel, and the eyes in the second panel are just sublime!
