Description

The great Irv Novick's pencils graced several early Teen Titans issues. Probably the most work he ever did on a super-hero team book.

In those early issues, when Nick handled the pencils and inks, he seemed to have a very light touch with the art. But Nick's inks over Novick were much stronger and complemented the pencils pretty well.

It seems when Nick started drawing TT, they were depicted as very young teenagers. Irv Novick drew them as middle teenagers. Later on, all other artists drew them as middle/late teens. Then Nick drew them as older teens or young adults.

Robin was created by Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson.

Wonder Girl was created by William Moulton Marston, H.G. Peter and Robert Kanigher.

Kid Flash was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino.

Aqualad was created by Robert Bernstein and Ramona Fradon.
