DescriptionStarro has defeated the Legion of Super-Pets and has taken them as host bodies. Only the shapeshifting Proty II escaped this fate and gathers a new Legion of Substitute Pets to challenge Starro and free his comrades:At the top, Fuzzy, the Krypto Mouse-an ordinary earth mouse that gains human size and Superboy's powers in Superboy #65. Below and to our right: Whizzy, the 31st century descendant of Streaky the Supercat, who assisted Supergirl in Action #287. From left to right: Z'Kor, a Kangaroo like alien who sought to be Superboy's pet in Superboy #148. Swifty, a gray Krypto look a like who briefly replaced Krypto as Superboy's pet in Superboy #109 Proty appears in the center in the form of Superpussycat, from Lois Lane's battle with Catwoman in Lois Lane #70. Rovo, the Mighty Dog, pet of Mighty Boy-Superboy and Krypto met him and his master in Superboy #85. Spot, a robot duplicate of Krypto created by Jor-El as a playmate for Kal after losing Krypto in space-later retrieved by Superboy from the Phantom Zone in Superboy #117.
