I picked this sweet double page spread up from Angel at this year�s C2E2. I really enjoyed his Spider-Man work and at a prior show in Dallas had picked up a DPS from his Venom mini-series (see also in my gallery). At C2E2, he told me he had recently found some Spidey pages he didn�t know he had so broke them out at that show � lucky for me, I was one of the first to stop by so was able to pick up some of those pages, including this bad boy!

Here you�ve got multiple Spidey images including a great center splash and a cool pose in the lower left panel. You can�t mistake this for anyone but Angel with that unique exaggerated but detailed style. I�ve always thought his work has got to be a bear to ink but Scott Hanna, in my opinion, does an awesome job here. And let�s not forget�black costume! I don�t have many pieces of Spidey in the black costume (yet!) so I especially value this one for that reason.

Angel�s a really nice guy so if you get a chance to see him at a show, say hey! Hope y�all dig this piece, and look for more of Angel�s work to come in my gallery. Happy holidays!

Incredible page. So much great stuff going on from wall cralwing to a dynamic cityscape side swing in the centre. Did I mention I love the BLACK SUIT!! Yup amazing

Agree with all points! There's lots to pore over on this one and it's still one of my fave Spidey pieces, and also one of my fave types of pieces - a DPS that incorporates a splashy shot AND storytelling! Go black costume! Thanks, Miles!
