Description

I'm a big fan of Bill Peet's children's books. My son Isaac and I spent many a Saturday at the library, reading Peet's wonderful books. I sent a copy of his autobiography to Peet back in 1990, and he responded by signing it and adding a wonderful drawing of Eli the Lion. Unfortunately, years later I had a bad water leak from my office ceiling, and a number of my signed books got badly damaged. Somehow, miraculously, the drawing in this book was unharmed. The book was very damaged, so I removed the drawing and tossed the book.
