Description

This is a fantastic drawing you won't see anywhere else, simply because Wincat Alcala only draws for fun and by special request. He currently works as an art director for Fox animation, specifically supporting the Family Guy cartoon series. To the best of my knowledge this is the first Vampi drawing he has ever done. He does however, come from a long line of Philippine artists (he is distantly related to Alfredo Alcala) and all of his children are similarly gifted.

In terms of this specific image, the shading is impeccable and his rendering of the bat and skull are among the best I've ever seen (see close-ups). Additionally Vampi's hour-glass figure and proportioning are excellent, as are the details of her face and eyes. I'm very privileged to own this piece, as it is very obvious Wincat is a top-rate artist.
