Description

Here's a stunning example of the way a talented inker can take a simple pencil design and elevate it to another level. Bob Almond outdid himself on this sweet Wanda pinup. The shadow effects were accomplished with deft use of zip-a-tone. (Incidentally, if you happen to observe the pencil original of this piece in another CAF gallery, please be advised that I am the true and only owner of this artwork -- which I purchased directly from the artist's U.S. representative -- and that the pencils no longer exist as such following this inking commission. Just keeping the record straight.)
