I know, right?

A splendid Venom convention sketch by one the greatest Italian comic book artists ever. I'm very Lucky.

Liberatore was a guest for one day at the 2014 Lille comics festival. He did not feel at ease among the US artists crowd but sketched nonetheless.

I requested a Venom and he did not seem pleased at first, not knowing what I was talking about. I then provided a reference piece and he agreed to have a go at it.

He was interupted by an interview but spent a good 30 minutes on this sketch. It was amazing to see a master at work and exchange words with him regarding his peers, the industry and world politics.
