DescriptionI'd enjoyed putting together the "last issue spectacular" covers that Mitch did for me so much that I couldn't help but think about building out that 80's Crusaders universe.Mariano is very nice guy and a great artist. When I decided I wanted to continue the Crusaders series it actually never crossed my mind to ask Mariano. I'm not sure why. Stupid me. But when I was looking for the right person to do the D.E.M.O.N. issue things fell perfectly into place. Grace, beauty and power all in one cover! Love how majestic Jaguar is, great Kirby-jump from O Vingador and the detail on the Nameless One's face is amazing. A pity it's lost at this low resolution. As always, I hope Crusaders fans approve :) And then there was color! Jovial Javi Solanes has been kind enough to grace this cover with his wonderful colors. As much of a fan of classic flats as I am I think Jaiv's more modern style here is perfect. A really nice color pallet, everything pops just the way I'd like it and the Shield glows with the awesome. Very happy with this one. Original size 11x17 ------- In This Issue ... D.E.M.O.N.S! The team is called in when D.E.M.O.N. launches an attack on New York City. It doesn't take long for them to find out what's going on- Monster-Master has been hiding out in one of Spy-Lord's old bases, on the run from D.E.M.O.N.. He was foolish enough to steal some secret weapon from the Nameless One himself and now he has sent his agents to get it back. A race across the world ensues as the team decides that anything the Nameless One wants that bad he shouldn't have. When D.E.M.O.N. captures Monster-Master the team decides that they have no choice but to assault the D.E.M.O.N. citadel itself. On top of all that action in this issue we learn why O Vingador joined the Crusaders. To exact revenge on D.E.M.O.N. for the death of his wife. Also - the mystery of how Lancelot Strong and Darkling survived deepens. And even more - that mystery figure is still recruiting villains. But for what purpose?? Could it maybe have something to do with the fact that the next issue is the double sized 25th??? This Issue's Cover ... The face of the evil Nameless One hovers above his citadel as the original Shield, Jaguar, CatGirl and O Vingador race into battle. Social/Sharing |

I agree with Trevor ..again the angles & perspectives add to the cover. Not an artist that I am familiar with but I like his style
