Description

Some may not be aware that before he began writing comics, Bill Willingham worked as an illustrator for TSR, producing cover and interior art for a number of their AD&D products. He also wrote and ilustrated the series, Elementals, under the Comico imprint back in the 1980s before most recently gaining fame as the writer of Fables. I'd been trying to get Bill to do a piece in my Fables sketchbook for several years now, and he finally agreed to do one for me this year at Heroes Con. This was the result - an illustration of Snow White using the Green Man motif (or "Green Snow" as Bill titled it).

Thanks to Bill for the gorgeous sketch and for consistently making Fables one of my favorite monthly reads for the last 13 years!
