Superboy vs Jon Kent sketch by Jerry Gaylord from the Special Edition: New York Convention, June 2015.

I love the (at first subtle) detail Jerry put into this sketch. In the DCnU, DC replaced that universe's Superboy on the Teen Titans with Jon Kent (the alternate timeline son of Superman and Lois Lane). Since he replaced Superboy, Jon had essentially the same costume, so I was left with the delimma of how do I show Jon Kent in a sketch and distinguish him from Superboy. I came up with the idea of having the two in the same sketch, fighting. Jerry took it a step further and studied the references of the two characters and actually found differences in the costumes. Love it!
