DescriptionAnd so now, the carnage begins.....I enjoyed Bouncing Boy & Duo Damsel's roles as teachers and mentors at the Legion Academy. It introduced us to some fun characters but also was a natural character devolpment for them both. She who once nutured, has now with her twisted world view has, created a hostile enviroment where lives are disposable. Those who follow her vision will live, those who will not are casually destroyed. John did an amazing job on this cover, the sweeping arc of skull and bones, the arrogant dismissive use of her powers are captured beautifully. Russ brings his skills to the fore. And this is only the beginning of a trail of tears. Death and destruction are the new norm. Here is a question for you ? If you had infinite temporal powers, what would you do to the person who created a machine that destroyed one of your three bodies ?? Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

A wonderful re-legion... like clockwork every Friday. Is this Firestorm issue the most modern comic you've ever used as inspiration?

Always enjoy seeing the Legion Academy students getting some love! I think that at some point you're gonna have John draw every single Legionnaire, Academy student and Sub, if you keep this up!

Not familiar with the Academy students, but love the gravity defying uniform of the center female. Great work by John.

Funny you reference "gravity defying costumes" as there is a Gravity Kid who was in the Academy. His costume was interesting also but to answer your question, the center female is an Evil Duo Damsel who manipluated by the Time trapper, brainwashed by Universo and corrupted after stealing Glorith's chronal powers is now on a rampage
