Description

I've been hoping to acquire a page by David Roach for some time, and the recent comic convention at Birmingham proved to be the perfect opportunity to do so.

Great to meet David in person, and great to come away with a smashing page. And this page is from David's very first ever Dredd tale, which saw it's release in the yearly special.

This page comes from a time when the lettering was not applied directly to the artwork, but instead came on a transparent overlay. In the additional images section below, I have included panels without this overlay, to show off more of the art.

"Beyond the Alley of the Ultra-Vixens" is a fantasic title and this page certainly lives up to the title. The fourth panel is lovely - love that cityscape in the background.
