Enric Torres-Prat - Vampirella
Oil on Canvas
21" x 28"
One of Warren's most utilized images of Vampirella, appearing as the cover to Vampirella #53, Vampirella #98 and the Ron Goulart novel, Vampirella #5: Deathgame
(Warner Books 1976).
This is a recreation painting by Enric, and incredibly close to the published cover ... only a few very subtle differences to distinguish between the two. I've searched for years for the publication-utilized original, but without success.

I owned I think another version of thsi whcih was used as a Warren cover she I think ws laying on the tiger and looking forward. Somewhat regret trading it for a huge Peter Hurd pirate painting he did while sharing a studio with Wyeth (it too is now gone way too big for the new house)
