Pretty excited to post this one! I’ve always liked this cover and when I saw it up for grabs in Comiclink’s recent event auction I jumped at the chance to nab it.

It’s just a great illustration. I love Mico’s rendition of Werewolf by Night – still a humanoid form but exaggerated proportions (arms, hands/claws, etc.), a hybrid human/wolf face, kind of hunched, and fierce! It reminds me of the 2010 remake of the Wolfman (though this comic was published before its release) – not the greatest flick but I thought the design of the character was awesome.

Killer detail here by Mico…particularly the rendering on the right arm. He didn’t take any shortcuts with the hair! That plane in the background is coming right towards the reader. On the published cover they actually blurred the image a bit to convey even more movement. As I finish writing this I’m more affirmed in my decision to pick this up - thanks for looking!
