Description

Gray Morrow's EDGE OF CHAOS came out in 1983. Gray decided to use the likeness of Steve Reeves for his hero. For those of us who ever saw Steve Reeves in the part, it was hard to imagine anyone else as a model for Hercules.

In Morrow's retelling of the Greek myth, the name Hercules was due to a mishearing of his true name "Eric Cleese," who had been sucked into a time not his own.

Here is the cover to EDGE OF CHAOS #1 of the three-issue mini-series. Purchased in October 2015 from Diederik Von Rappard.
