Mon-El by Tom Fowler

I am a huge fan of Tom Fowler's art and I am so happy to own another commission from him. Tom's commissions are always unique and always beautiful. This one is no exception. I sent Tom a few Legionnaires to choose from for this commission, and Tom chose Mr. Lar Gand himself, the mighty Mon-El! One of the first Legion stories I ever read featured Mon-El teamed-up with Superboy and Ultra Boy, and I was amazed by this guy who was just as powerful as Superboy. It wasn't until years later that I learned about his tragic origin, being poisoned and trapped in the Phantom Zone for so many years. Lar Gand has always been one of my favorite Legionnaires, and I have enjoyed his many iterations through the years. Anyway, this piece is gorgeous! I love how Tom displays how powerful Mon-El is, destroying the giant robots without even raising a hand. And Tom's paints are just fabulous! I cannot thank Tom enough for his effort here, and I thoroughly recommend everyone else go commission him.
