DescriptionBold portrait on 9 x 12" heavy board, of his character Geronimo from Lieutenant Blueberry... Signed 'Gir'. I showed this piece to Jean-Marc Lofficier, who graciously opined that the pencil drawing was indeed by Moebius and properly signed (GIR) for this character, and that it was most likely colored by another European master, or possibly Moebius's assistant.Social/Sharing |

Excellent. In a portrait like this, we can clearly see a fusion between the realistic Giraud style and the fanciful Moebius style.
