DescriptionThis is the Nova cover that never was but someday will be, sort of! I initially set this cover up months ago with Oscar in hopes that he would finish it for what was supposed to be an October release. Fortunately for fans of Oscars work he just hasn't had the time. No fault of his as he has been doing some slick cover work for Marvel and is doing interiors for one of the JLA Darksied Wars books. While I am disappointed he couldn't complete this cover(and I'm sure he will eventually and it will be spectacular),he did send me a colored "Sketch" that was able to use for this issues story, and allow me to continue on with my series. Some will say this sketch is better than some artists finished work and I would agree.Take the time to look at Oscar's current work if you get the chance. He is better than ever!Story so far: Nova has been "Dropped" by the Imperial Guard into The Savage Land, thousands of miles from his home in New York. An eventual meeting with KaZar and Zabu took place as well. Unfortunately there is chaos in The Savage Land as Karl Lykos(alias Sauron),has found a way of controlling all reptile life in the Savage Land and once our heroes are out of the the way, world conquest is in his sights. Lots of dino-action heading your way! Next issue: Your thousands of miles from home with no X-Men Blackbird or Avengers Quinjet to get home with, what do you do? Well if your The Human Rocket, you fly!!The "Nova World Tour" starts here in less than 30 days. be there! (There is also one more Dinosaur........A big one!!) Social/Sharing |

Right on, Rob. Though not exactly what you were looking for (at least yet!) it's still a sweet piece, particularly the coloring!
