Description

I'm a big fan of the Golden Age of Aviation. Many of the old Pulps contained aviation themed stories. Al McWilliams was a master of aviation adventure. His works convey a sense of excitement and thrills, with a solid background in aircraft design. I love the drama of this piece. The nose art is also wonderful.

David, Thanks for your comment. McWilliams was a master of aviation art. I love the energy he was able to show in these works. Just dramatically beautiful. I feel fortunate to have this small example in my collection.

Johnny, Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love these early Pulp aviation pieces. This one seems poised to lead into a great tale. I especially like the inks.
