Description

I discovered The Phantom through the Defenders of the Earth cartoon in the 80's, and I remember thinking that it was SO COOL that my dad knew who he was. He told me about The Ghost Who Walks and how he would punch dudes so hard that the skull ring he wore would leave an imprint in their forehead, and that sounded so much better than the cartoon. I love the wild angles in the layout of this page, the close up of the potato masher grenade, the ridiculous German dialogue, and the casual reference to the Canyon of Death.
