Description

Original pen and ink drawing used in December 1943 issue of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #39. Carl'signature is both in long hand and printed.
Tom Andrae taught one of the first college courses using Barks work and with Don Ault organized the first public showing of Barks' paintings.
This may be the earliest surviving comic book art by Barks.
