Description

Of all the pieces of art we own, we've had more offers from folks trying to buy this from us than on any other piece of art we own. But how could we ever sell something with such cute froglike lizards? It's by artist Gray Morrow, and originally appeared on the cover of the October 1963 issue of the swords and sorcery fanzine, Amra (v2n26). It later appeared as an inside cover to Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction #3 (May 1975). Showing how little regarded work like this was back in the day, a previous owner trimmed it on three of the sides so that it could fit into a cheap frame. Sigh...

Too good! What a unique image and so expertly handled by Morrow throughout this complex drawing. I really like the lighting
