Description

Memorial Day, Monday May 30, 2016

Not sure if it's dated 1943 or 1945. However Nick would've training at Camp Blanding upon being drafted in 1943. By 1945, Nick was in Eurpoe.

Published in Nick Cardy: The Artist at War, page 43.

Nick was originally drafted into the 66th Infantry Division, where he redesigned their shoulder patch. Later, Nick was transferred to the Third Armored Division as a tank driver.

Acquired from Nick's estate via ComicConnect.
