Description

Doing some Spidey posting today, and this is the first of 3 from Ramon Perez’s work from ASM: Learning to Crawl. I picked up each of these for a specific reason relating to Spidey’s origin. These 2 pages (on one large 13x19 board) show Peter and Aunt May sharing a humorous moment, but leads into Pete deciding, in Uncle Ben’s honor, that not only will he fight the good fight, but that he’ll crack up Uncle Ben doing it. I’m not sure whether this book is canon or not, but regardless, I like the depiction of how Pete comes up with what we all know is one of Spider-Man’s character defining traits.
