Description

This detailed prelim sketch for Carl Barks' oil painting titled �Ye Olde Wishing Well� was made in 1971 and is one of the last preliminary drawings Barks did before he started on the actual oil painting. The background on this oil painting was changed in 1995 so this drawing is one of the few that show what the painting originally looked like.
The art has been authenticated by previous owner, Kathy Morby, and its authenticity has moreover been verified by several art experts from the highly reputable auction house Heritage Comics.
