Description

If you have a large art Kirby/Sinnott FF page on display in your CAF gallery, I've probably contacted you about it over the past several years--I've been obsessively searching for a nice example from these two comic art titans for quite a while, but with no luck (and much heartbreak). But sometimes good things come to those who wait. I gave up quite a bit to make this page mine--but it was so worth it. For me this page encapsulates just about everything that makes the Kirby/Sinnott era the greatest run in comic book history: Kirby doing the character he identified with most, the King's dynamic storytelling, Sinnott's crisp, precise inks, Stan's dialogue and characterization of Benjamin J. Grimm. Oh, and the small added detail of the Silver Surfer.

How amazing would it be to be a comic book fan in 1966, reading these stories for the first time? Still getting used to the idea that I have a page like this in my collection!

Wow..Jeremy my cosmic comic art collecting brother this is a freaking page!! What a great classicnimage and it has all of the kind of elements I like classic type foes battle when ofc their relationship with the Surfer was a tricky one..and absolutely love the whole Thing dialogue that really characterizes all of the fanoubs traits ol’ Benjy has with his never give up attitude stubborn relisilience and the surfers Galactic cold superiority attitude about his power like hey I’m just stating facts my cosmic power is better than yours haha..great action large panels..You have it all with this one..Amazing!..Top notch as far as a panel page from that era!
