Description

This is the original art to page 48 of the Batman Masque Elseworlds Graphic Novel. The art is by industry hall of famer Mike Grell. This was an unusual project. Mike drew the art in pencil on 8 ½ x 11 inch paper. Then he did the inks on vellum on a separate sheet over the pencils. Mike did the art so small because he had just gotten new glasses & everything looked huge to him, so he drew it smaller. The sheet with the pencils has some stains. Most are on the right of the image area. There is a slight discoloration near the Two-Face character's foot in the top panel.
