Description

No Abner but lots of Daisy May. 1940. The first character looks an awful lot like my femme fatale favorite, the Dragonlady. The third panel portrait of Daisy is exceptional. Lots of added details in the panel composition like the locals just hanging out looking in windows, a mouse hole and a broken mirror. What is not to love?

Wonderful example of Capp's early art on this legendary strip, the inks are great and the first panel alone is a little gem!
