Description

A great Man-Thing pencil sketch by Ian Bertram.

This was done during the 2016 Lille Comics festival where I had a great time with Team Lu.

I thought Ian’s naturally organic style would be a perfect it fit for MaN-Thing and boy, was I right!

It was a delight to see him work on the piece and layers and layers of vines, leaves and simply line on this great portrait. I find it bears many similarities to the work Liam Sharp did on the character on the short lived serie he drew during the 90s.

Definitely one of my favorite sketches from this year’s show. Thanks Ian!
