Description

I believe this is Nick's last piece for DC. And perhaps appropriately, he came full circle to Will Eisner for whom he first worked.

As you might expect from Nick, it's pretty easy to see who the bad guys are.

The additional images feature 2 versions of the great Patricia Mulvihill's digital colors ( swiped from comicbookresources.com ) and the published comic. The digital colors seem to have a more greenish tint overall compared to the published blueish comic. I've loved Trish's work since I first became familiar with her doing colors for JB's run on WW.

The Spirit was created by Will Eisner.

That's an exceptional cover, and if it is the last work Mr. Cardy did for DC, then it is in the right collection.
