DescriptionEagle Volume 2 Issue 51 Page 2March 28th, 1952 Another interesting piece from the Red Moon Mystery. This one was reworked for the 1979 annual page 27. All panels appear to be the originals. The bottom panels have been trimmed, as evidenced by the original published page. Fortunately not by much. The page layout is as per the original published page. Again, brilliant colour and the detail that the original comic printing, and the annual just could not reproduce. The inside of the attacking ship is excellent close up. Anastasia is featured twice to boot, which is cool. The nuclear explosions are marvellous. I have attributed this piece to Frank Hampson and Harold Johns. Happy to be corrected. Social/Sharing |
