Description

Chris Mooneyham quickly established himself as a master in high-adventure pulp with Five Ghosts. His brush work is prodigious as seen in this example from Predator: Fire & Stone. On this page, Galgo and a Predator stand cliffside overlooking a mass grave of Xenomorphs. The way Mooneyham uses brush strokes and highlights to create a hill of Xenomorph carcasses is awe-inspiring, and that's not even mentioning the way he creates foliage and jungle. The large panel alone was enough for me to purchase this piece without reading the book. Mooneyham has now finished the mini-series Predator vs Judge Dredd vs Aliens (with John Layman on writing duties) putting him alongside Chris Warner as one of the best Predator artists in comics.
