DescriptionThe complete penciled strip for the story “Stiff Staff”. Published in Cavalier Magazine 1971 as a one page strip. It was reprinted in Vaughn Bodé's Deadbone Erotica Vol.2 from Fantagraphics in 1988. Featuring Vaughn Bode’s iconic Bode Broads and Bode Lizards. In 2020, the colored page of this became the most expensive interior page of Vaughn Bode’s to sell at auction “up until that time”. $15,600.00 at Heritage Auctions. Later that same year, Vaughn Bodé's Deadbone: The First Testament of Cheech Wizard, the Cartoon Messiah Cover Original Art, sold for $20,400.00 at Heritage!Social/Sharing |
