Description

This probably wouldn't pass muster in the PC times in which we're now living, but it's impossible not to admire Hawley's artistic skills here. It was part of the Donald Art Co. archive. The mat bears the title, "Cowboys N' Indians," in handwriting that very much looks like Pete's and has instructions to scale it to 12" x 15", but it does not appear ever to have been published. Most likely it was for a planned collection of wall decorations. A similar piece that Hawley painted for a set of fairy tale wall decorations is in the "additional images" section. If anyone has information on this piece, I would love to hear from you!
