Description

I was fortunate enough to come upon a nice run by master artists team Scot & Claudette Eaton. I greatly enjoyed the work they did with Dan Abnett on the series from 2016 to 2018. Claudette is an absolute pleasure to work with as a collector.

Aquaman is offered advice from his counsellors on this opening page of issue seven from the eighth volume of Arthur Curry's adventures. The Atlantean council is hungry for war.

Eaton's pencils are sharp and clear. I feel his strength comes in the detail he puts into everything on the page. Nothing feels rushed. And every character is unique in their body language, expressions, and facial features. It doesn't feel like he has the limits when it comes to drawing individuals.

I also have the completed inks to this piece.

The issue was originally published in Sept. of 2016.
