Description

It was my turn again on Prisonsuit's commission list, so I decided to go for somebody REALLY obscure.

Omniman was the main character of a comic book from Alan Moore's run on "Supreme." Supreme, as Ethan Crane, was the artist on the title while his girlfriend Diana Dane was the writer. This was another aspect of Moore's metatextual writing by including a comic about a version of Superman INSIDE a comic about a version of Superman. The changes and edits made to the Omniman comic were a reflection of the changes in Supreme. In one issue, Supreme seemingly fought what appeared to be Omniman come to life outside the printed page, only it was really Supreme's trickster enemy Szasz.

I thought of going for a Silver Age nod by saying he's growing fat because of exposure to some kind of Kryptonite like material. That used to happen a lot to the Superman Family back in the day, except for Ma and Pa Kent and Perry White for some reason.
