DescriptionGeorge Lichty clearly loved drawing hobos in his Grin and Bear It comic strip, as he revisited the characters often. In this panel, from January 9, 1965, one of the hobos states, "...and then several years ago I decided to adopt a wait-and-see attitude about EVERYTHING!" The brush work in this piece is simply wonderful, from the curves of the figures to the one-point perspective of the railroad tracks.Social/Sharing |
