Description

At first, the common element between Vampirella and Dr. Michael Morbius might seem obvious. They're both vampires, right? But if you dig a little more deeply, you realize that the connection is even more subtle than that.

True, Vampi and Morbi (don't tell him I called him that) are both blood-craving creatures, but they are also non-traditional types -- that is, they're not of the undead variety.

Vampirella, of course, hails from the distant planet Drakulon, where the rivers flow with blood. Morbius, who came into comics billed as "The Living Vampire," developed vampiric traits as the result of an experimental treatment for a rare blood disorder.

Artist Tim Tyler is also not undead. And so far as I know, he is not a vampire. Just a talented comics artist. I'm pretty sure, anyway.
