Description

This is a recreation of the ORIGINAL Groot cover! Inked over printed bluelines on 11 x 17 Bristol board. This is a recreation of the cover to TALES OF ASTONISH #13. The first appearance of GROOT!

Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko did the original cover art. I cleaned up a scan of the comic as well as I could and then inked over bluelines while 'holding' the lettering in black and touching it up. I had to swap out/improve some of the lettering. My first cover recreation in over two years!
