Description

Firstly, why is Ian Richardson not a major comics megastar? His work is absolutely incredible!

I'd seen some of the stuff Ian has done for others here, and his amazing detail work and willingness to take on fantastically finicky stuff made me want to set him a bit of a challenge --- so adapting the cover of "That Damned Tabloid" as a Guardians piece seemed ideal. And boy, did he rise to that challenge! I *almost* wish I'd decided to go with the full wrap-around cover, now ... though I don't think the characters would have mapped properly, so maybe just as well I didn't.

(NB: drawn to correct proportions, hence the top and bottom white space - I probably should have trimmed it but I was far too eager to get this posted!)

I agree about Ian! I think I will start pushing DC to get him for the next Legion of Superheroes revival! He sure did a great job with the Guardians here! Congrats!
