DescriptionJust in time for it's 35th Anniversary, Justice League 208 p1. Penciled by the overlooked Don Heck.No one back in 1982 would have thought that versions of both Firestorm and Steel would one day appear on a weekly live action Prime Time Network TV Show or that Aquaman would have a big budget live action Major Motion Picture. "Crisis on Earth Prime" by Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway appeared in Justice League 207,208,209 and All-Star Squadron 14 and 15. The story line which began very early in the Summer of 1982 was one of my childhood favorites. This page brings me back to those simpler times - although that may more likely be the effects of euphoric recall rather than the actual reality :) While there would be three more JLA/JSA Summer crossovers, this story represents the last great one. This splash, along with the final page of All-Star Squadron 14, were my 2 "grails" from the storyline. This one "eluded" me for the better part of the last 17 or so years, but no longer. For the All-Star Squadron #14 view/version of the scene depicted in this splash: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=29912 Not for Sale or Trade WANTED: - JLA 207 p1 and 23 - All-Star Squadron - all interior pages from the Preview [JLA 193] and most pages from issue #4 Please Don't sell yourself short [including giving up 15-20% of YOUR sale money to an auction house] I will pay the top dollar for those pages. Wonderful splash. I love DC's golden age characters and how they utilized them in modern day JSA and All-Star Squad groups. Bravo!!

I was a big fan of the JLA around this time period. Great Splash and congratulations on getting something you have been after for so long.
