Description

Excellent page from this short-lived series (ended after 16 issues) that was part of DC's New 52. The work is primarily that of Wayne Faucher who inked Alberto Ponticelli's pencils, an artist whose renderings had been photostatically transferred as a blue-line image before Faucher began. Faucher's inks really buoyed the quality of Ponticelli's pencils as demonstrated in several previous comic issues in this series where alternate inkers had tried to capture the nuasances of Ponticelli's efforts to no avail. This is definitive proof that inkers really, really matter in terms of how the finished product looks.
