Description

I own the original, published page that was penciled by the Legendary Gene Colan. That book, which was the last issue of Captain America drawn by Gene, was printed directly from Gene's pencils. I had asked one of the greatest inkers who ever collaborated with Gene, Tom Palmer, if he would be interested in inking one of the pages on a separate board. The admiration Tom holds for Gene's work is apparent with each line drawn. I am so grateful that Tom was able to grace this art with his illustrious inks!

This turned out very well Rich! It was nice to see the book printed from Gene's pencils, but I can't get enough of Tom Palmer's inks over Gene. This is nice to see. Thanks for sharing!

excellent! you can almost feel the mist swirling around that other figure. you almost forget how gene and tom were in conveying a mood in a scene.
